My name is Aimee Savage and I am the eldest of four daughters. I am a December baby, but I do not enjoy the cold. I am from Virginia Beach and was attracted to this lovely place known as Amherst, Virginia because of Sweet Briar College and its female Engineering Program. I am excited to be one of the first to graduate from our school with and Engineering degree. From and early age, I have always enjoyed math and science, so engineering seemed like a perfect fit. In my spare time at home, I enjoy surfing, driving around aimlessly, cheerleading, and hanging out with friends doing the most random things. Here at Sweet Briar, when we find spare time, we make our lives interesting with hall bowling, painting the rock and hitching post, and hours on end at the Wal-Mart down the road. I am happy to be here, and I wouldn't trade it for the world. I chose a smaller institution because I know that here my professors will know my name and personally care about my academic performance. Once I stepped foot on campus I knew I found my second home.
