men and women of the United States Marine Corps have been called the few
and the proud. Perhaps these titles should apply to their families as well.

The Corps offers many programs for spouses of Marines. One of the first programs available to spouses (or potential spouses!) is PREP- Prevention and Relationship Enhancement Program. This program is run by the Marine Corps Family Team Building Staff and chaplains.

Another great resource for families is the Lifestyle Insights, Networking, Knowledge and Skills program, better known as L.I.N.K.S. This program is especially important for spouses of Marines. Through a ten and a half hour orientation, spouses are introduced to the Marine Corps and Marine Corps Family living. It is led by other Marine spouses who have experienced Marine Corps life and are willing to pass on their expertise to others. The following link will give more information regarding L.I.N.K.S.
A great contribution to families by the Marine Corps is the Marine Corps
Scholarship Foundation. Children of active duty, reserve, or retired Marines
