I was born into a household that speaks only English. I have eight years of experience with the French language, and have traveled to France numerous times. I participated in an exchange program with a French school during my Junior year of high school. I spent two weeks in Nancy, France practicing my verbal communication skills.
I have experience with communication and teamwork skills in English through various assignments in Engineering 110. I learned cooperation, patience, and determination alongside my steadfast partner Christina Johnson when given the project of building a cardboard boat made out of only 20 lbs. of cardboard and 50 ft. of inferior quality duct tape. The hardwork paid off as we were awarded the Best Design trophy.
